Brent commenced his career in vegetable seed in October 1979, based in Christchurch working for Arthur Yates & Co.
Before joining the vegetable seed industry Brent completed tertiary education at Lincoln College, completing an Agricultural Diploma in 1974. After this Brent held various positions within the Dalgety Co in Agricultural Seed & Merchandise within the Canterbury region.
In March 1983 he moved north to be based in Pukekohe as a regional sales manager for Arthur Yates & Co.
Brent took the opportunity when it arose and joined Lefroy Valley in 1992 as Manager and a shareholder.
With over 30 years experience, Brent is actively involved with outdoor crops specialising in but not limited to, cauliflower, sweetcorn, onions, squash & carrot.
Brent covers the sales territory of Otago / Southland, Bay of Plenty, Franklin, Lower North Island, Nelson and Canterbury. He shares the region of East Coast / Hawkes Bay with Warren.
