Royal Armada

This seedless watermelon has a vigorous growing vine with good fruit cover and excellent setting ability.

Fruit weigh 5-10 kg. Flesh is very dense with a nice deep red colour and excellent flavour. Blocky oval in shape with a medium dark rind colour called a Paloma type.

Harvest main season and late. Seedless tend to have more vigorous vines and
require slightly more heat units to size.

Generally suited to North Island and Nelson conditions they have also been grown in Canterbury and Alexandria.
