Rock melon. Trial code MEL8643. Weight 1.6-1.9 kg with a small cavity.
Fruit is oval in shape with sutures and mild net. Flesh has a great melon flavour, firm with excellent colour, brix of 12-14%.
Good setting mid maturing variety. Good results throughout the North island to date. Fruit slip, but it better to pick earlier.
